The Fall/Winter 2021/2022 Simonetta collection is inspired by the personality of Ada Lovelace, by her boundless curiosity and revolutionary discoveries.
Ada was a famous 19th-century mathematician and the daughter of poet, Lord Byron; she is chiefly known for her work as the inventor of the calculating machine and today, she is considered the world’s first programmer.
The collection centers around the theme of dreaming in all its beauty, with the absolute focus being imagination. A perfect combination of tones including light blue, green and pink, used to form high, frothy waves, symbols of freedom and a desire to escape, together with the recurring imaginary figures of Ada’s own dreams: Pegasus, the symbol of freedom, a winged ship, a hot air balloon, the harp she loved to play, and a chessboard with the rook to symbolize mathematical calculation. This pattern has been printed on silk dresses and blouses, on chiffon skirts, and on culotte trousers with ruched hems, all paired with off-white items in milk-colored duchesse satin, jersey or plush.
I’m the real queen, Born to be free and Never stop dreaming are the bold, buoyant messages printed on eco cotton tees and sweatshirts.

Simonetta’s typical bon ton style is emphasised with velvet and silk maxi bows on dresses, jackets, and accessories, with houndstooth on four-button kilts to wear with sweatshirts and cardigans, or in velvets for super-cool outerwear.
Significant volumes take on a stronger feel with exclusive fabrics. Lurex tops and dresses are combined with ruched blouses, adding movement to looks that reinterpret the occasion wear line with a casual chic feel. Mohair outerwear has ruches hems, cuffs and pockets, and pair beautifully with the season’s must-have accessories to give a contemporary pop to the finished look.
The dreamlike dimension of the collection continues and explodes in a range of items with bold, super-cool styles and a simple but effective palette focused on black and white.
It’s all about stars that reach the height of contemporary style in different forms and interpretations: shiny flock on dresses and blouse in tulle to create a perfect party look, or maxi contrasting designs on culottes, black and white duchesse satin skirts, and tees and hoodies, where they are joined by the tag line Look up at the stars.
Lace contrasts with pop detailing in the form of watercolour prints, to make dresses and sweatshirts fun and on trend when paired with coordinated slip-ons to become an absolute must have.
Accessories play an essential role in the range from Simonetta:
maxi backpack in nylon with embroidered stars, velvet ballet pumps with maxi star, Alice bands in duchesse satin, and woollen beanie hats give every look its individual feel.
