Native Shoes introduce new Disney collection tailor-made for true originals
Purpose-led footwear brand Native Shoes is collaborating with Disney to release a bright new collection for the whole family, inspired by playfulness, creativity and nostalgia. Available in nine iconic prints across five classic styles, the colorful new prints for adults and kids feature Disney Mickey Mouse and Disney Minnie Mouse in a boldly original new style.
Available via Native Shoes and selected retailers for the first time, this collaboration represents a merger of classics: whimsical Disney characters adorning Native Shoes’ most recognizable silhouettes. Bright and summer-ready, the collection will be available in an array of classic seasonal shades, from pastel-hued Princess Pink and Hydrangea Blue to iconic Torch Red and Jiffy Black.
Adults can choose from three silhouettes: the brand’s much-loved Jefferson, Miles and Jericho styles. Made with injection molded ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) foam, these slip-on shoes are lightweight, water-friendly and odor-resistant. Children can opt for a mini-me EVA Jefferson Child, or a classic Charley sandal - featuring a molded EVA footbed, and easy to use hook-and-loop fastenings. Offering a wide range of colors, prints and styles with classic Native Shoes functionality, the styles are designed for everyone: from the eternal Disney enthusiast to those seeking a splash of color and playfulness for the summer months.

As with all Native Shoes’ styles, the Disney collection is fully recyclable through the Native Shoes RemixTM Project. Through a unique grinding process, previously worn silhouettes are broken down, and the signature lightweight materials are turned into new products, from seating to playgrounds. Through this initiative, Native Shoes has recycled more than 30,000 shoes and counting - forming the bouncy, colorful base to five playgrounds across Vancouver and BC’s Lower Mainland.
The Disney x Native Shoes collection will be available to purchase from April 19 2022 exclusively from Native Shoes and Zappos, via the Native Shoes Vancouver store, nativeshoes.com and nativeshoes.com/ca, and Zappos.com. Prices start at $38 USD / $45 CAD for children’s silhouettes and $60 USD / $70 CAD for adults.
