Vancouver Kids Fashion Week started its third season on Saturday, September 23rd with a bang. Vancouver Kids Fashion Week embraced the importance of its partnership with BC Children’s Hosptial foundation, highlighting and noticing its significance. The first designer of the day was VonBon. Her designs showcased a hip and casual appeal. Vonbon is a perfect kids clothing line that specializes in making the most eco-friendly clothing, along being stylish. The pieces included plaid, soft colors, and fashionable headpieces.

Wildswan then took the catwalk to a stage, embracing the beauty of dancewear and incorporating it to the runway. Wildswan is a specialized ballet and dance couture collection. The line was full of different patterns, including roses, swans, and flowers. Highlighting rich colors, in soft textual designs.

Os & Oakes showcased a unisex collection that highlighted high-quality bamboo fabrics. The group showed a patterned of black and white, stripes, and different design patches. Cabriolle took the audience’s breath away with the beauty and elegance of the collection. Cabriolle highlighted formal dresses for children incorporating lace, texture, tooling, and luxury to every piece of clothing.

HUGLAND closed the show for Saturday, September 23rd. The collection was full of bold, boxy, colorful looks. Colour blocking was a common trend noted in this collection, as well as the tribal feel.

 The second day’s show started with a heartwarming dance performance from Feng Feng, as well a mini boy band performance by Indigo Education. The catwalk began with Jax & Lennon Co a sustainable quality clothing company that showcased comfort and stability for children of all ages. Jax & Lennon Coused pastel colors that highlighted every skin tone. Next was the feature exhibition of Flower Season by Chang Yu. This collection changed from traditional pieces with bold and colorful patterns and symbols.

Mayoral Presented by VSI was an amazing collection of cute and fashionable pieces. Mayoral showcased some beautiful looks of all different types of clothing, yet all of them still keeping the trend of being beautiful, comfortable, and eco-friendly.

Lil Haven showed next as they showcased a classic yet practical. Working exclusively with bamboo fabrics was an important factor in creating an eco-friendly and sustainable collection that allows our kids to feel comfortable whether they are playing or getting dressed up.

To close this season at Vancouver Kids Fashion Week was Yekaterina Ivanko by KZ Innovation a Ukraine designer. She showcased a collection of beauty fancy kid wear, perfect for formal dinners, events, or just playing dress up.

Overall this year Vancouver Kids Fashion Week was a huge success and looking forward to its fourth season in March.
