Baby, it’s cold outside. Come’n inside and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate (or 2 or 3). Better yet, I have a bar cart loaded for you and edible gifts as easy to make as 1,2,3.

You guys, there is a chocolate bar cart in my house, so we can make hot chocolate anytime and all the time during the holiday season. A house with three kids, friends, and cousins in and out calls for a perfect warm, creamy, and sweet treat.

Ok, let’s be honest here, I think I went a little loco for hot coco this year. I made boxes and boxes of hot chocolate gift kits to give to kids, friends, teachers, and neighbors. Even better than hot chocolate is hot chocolate on a stick because everything tastes better on a stick let’s make it, shall we?
Ingredients:

10449639_1253761884637472_675313225_n1. 8oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2. 3 tbsp good quality Chopped milk chocolate
3. Silicon Ice Cube trays & Wooden Sticks
I told you, it’s as easy as 1,2,3
Directions:
Melt the chocolate chips and milk chocolate in a double boiler until melted all the way through.
Pour the mix in the silicone mold and insert a wooden stick in each mold to allow it to harden in the fridge.10396312_1253761891304138_77225331_nunknown

Warm some milk (of course you are going to need a Santa mug for that). Dissolve the hot chocolate stick in the frothy milk and enjoy. This hot chocolate on a stick is so good. It’s like drinking melted chocolate bars.
Now don’t drink all the hot chocolate by yourself, make some to gift. To assemble the hot chocolate gift kits I used:
Santa mugs similar found here:

Hot chocolate sticks (directions above)
Mini whisks or wooden spoons
Marshmallows
Peppermint sticks
This yummy hot chocolate mix here because no one should run out of hot chocolate..

Found these awesome lunch boxes that I used for this kit at

Happy hot chocolate sipping, happy gifting, and happy happy holidays.
