Mini Mode–London’s Premier Kids Fashion Week made its mark on the UK fashion calendar, as it returned for a second season during London Fashion Week at LSO St.Luke’s, London. MiniMode provided a unique spotlight on kid’s fashion show casing both established and emerging childrenswear designers from around the globe.

We hand selected some of our favorite looks below!

The event included a spectacular Industry Show and Consumer Show. It was a very glamorous affair, packed with adorable ‘mini’ models showcasing the latest childrenswear collections on the runway; complete with a selection of children’s entertainment from talented young performers, including a Social Media Takeover by @holycamila_ for the Industry Show and for the Consumer hosts live takeover by @inspiringvanesa, @king_che9 and @ryhannaparara05. Music was by kid DJ @maisiekateyoung. Singer @josietruemaisey, rapper @olivia.rapsand budding actor@denny.ash1 performed a monologue. Absolute Bollywood closed the show and all the kid entertainers wowed the audience in between the main fashion shows.

The Consumer show featured see-now-buy-now collections for AW 2018 and was open to the general public with excitable children, stylish parents and influencers on the #FROW.

Singer, TV personality and mother of two, Kimberley Walsh also debuted her new children’s wear brand Kimba Kids on the runway at Mini Mode.

Founded by UK childrenswear designer, Amanda Rabor, Mini Mode’s vision is to establish a new and consistent platform for the kids fashion market that will be talked about from season to season. Mini Mode is also about empowerment and building self-esteem for kids, whilst contributing a new business and fashion model for the UK industry that promotes inclusivity on every level.

Hugland strives to harness the positive effects of colour and texture in its
designs, to stimulate the senses of the playful inner child–grown up or not.

Sarbear Designs (UK) showcased selected pieces from their
collection on the catwalk at Mini Mode.

Amanda Rabor, Founder of Mini Mode says: “I’m excited to have launched the second season of Mini Mode – London’s Premier Kids Fashion Week and showcased a range of talented designers. The show has a spirit and vibe that celebrates inclusivity and diversity on every level. Mini Mode empowers kids and launches new talent. I’m truly passionate about breaking down barriers for the upcoming generations. We had designers from Rusia, Australia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, France and I’m so proud to have so many UK designers showcase with us. It’s my aim to contribute to the kids.
