How did you get started in acting?
I got started in acting through natural beauty pageants. One of the judges was a short film director and asked me to be in his film. After that experience, I knew I wanted to act for the rest of my life. I immediately started acting classes and began my acting journey.
How old were you when you landed your first role?
I was 13 when I landed my first role. It was a guest star role on ABCs Goldbergs.
What do you enjoy about acting?
I enjoy so much about acting! I love the fact that you always get to play different characters. I feel like every role, you learn something else about the craft. I also enjoy how much acting involves pushing yourself. It makes you a stronger person.
Do you ever get starstruck? If so, by whom?
I don’t get star struck much!! Although, when I met Aaron Paul from breaking bad (one of my fav shows) my hands were slightly shaking…
What role would you love to play/be your dream role?
My dream role is something in a Christopher Nolan movie! They are always so well written and beautiful!
What are your tips on how to memorize a lot of lines?
One of my weird things I used to do a TON to memorize lines was make a voice recording of the other persons lines and leave space for my lines, so I could go through the scene by myself!
Which has been your favorite character that you have performed?
My favorite character I have performed would probably be Vi from Liar Liar Vampire. She was such a cool chick. From her style to her attitude she was just COOL.
What are your strong points as an actor?
My strong points as an actor in my opinion would definitely be my ability to push myself. I like to think I am an extremely hard worker, which is essential in an acting career.
What have you learned from the directors that you have worked so far?
How important every single person in the cast and crew is! It takes SO many people to make a show and each person is extremely important.
What actors do you admire?
I love Jake Gyllenhaal! The way he transforms to different characters is AMAZING.
How do you stay in the moment?
Honestly, I struggle with living in the moment but it helps me to do things that I love. If I’m having fun and happy, of course I want to be in the moment!
